Since 1956, Optiek Maertens has been a familiar face in Blankenberge.

Julien Loose & Rachel Van Bossele
In 1956 the story of Optiek Maertens began. Julien Loose and Rachel Van Bossele founded the shop and thus laid the foundation for a family business that still exists today.
A first step in a story of craftsmanship, trust and personal service.
Robert Maertens & Rosette Loose
In 1975 Robert Maertens and Rosette Loose took over the shop. With much enthusiasm they continued the work and further built the name and trust of Optiek Maertens.
The business continued to grow and the foundation for a new generation was laid.
